OFFICE MENORANMUM

Subject: Zone of consideration for inclusion in the Select List of Upper Division Clerks’ Grade of CSCS for the years 2004-2014 against Seniority Quotaregarding.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 30.09 .2015 on the subject mentioned above and to state that clarification has been sought by various cadre units asking whether LDCs who have completed 8 years approved service under Seniority Quota and are eligible for inclusion in the Select List 2004-2014 as per the zone issued by DoP&T, but passed the UD Grade Departmental Examination of the later years, may be included in SL-2004-2014 on the basis of their seniority or not.

2. In this context, it is clarified that such officials may be included in the Select List 2004-2014 under Seniority Quota if it is more beneficial to them as compared to their inclusion in LDCE Quota of later years.
