Subject: Zone of consideration for inclusion in Select List of Section Officers’ Grade of CSS for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011 against Seniority Quota – regarding
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OMs of even number dated 25.09 .2013 and subsequent reminders dated 01.01 .2014 , $06.02 .2014,03.03 .2014,29.04 .2014$ and 22.05 .2014 on the subject mentioned above and to say that the information regarding recommendation of the DPC for promotion of eligible officers to the Section Officers’ Grade of CSS for the Select List Years 2009, 2010 and 2011 against Seniority Quota was required to be furnished in the prescribed proforma by 15.10 .2013 .
2. The status of the information received from the cadre units as on date has been compiled and attached as Annexure-I. The names of the officers in respect of whom the information is still awaited is available in Annexure-II. Of the officers included in zone for SO SL 2009, 2010 and 2011, the whereabouts of 23 officers are yet to be confirmed. The list of these 23 officers is attached as Annexure-III.
3. The defaulting Cadre Units are once again requested to conduct the DPCs immediately and send the requisite information in the prescribed proforma to this Department to enable finalization of Select Lists for these years. In Annexure I, the discrepancies observed in the orders/notifications issued by some cadre units have once again been indicated. The corrective measures as per the DPC guidelines read with the clarifications issued vide this Department OM of even number dated 31.01 .2014 may be taken under intimation to this Department. As regards the 23 officers figuring in Annexure-III is concerned, if any of them is/was working in any Cadre Unit other than the one indicated against them, such cadre units may conduct the DPC in respect of them and send the requisite information to this Department without any further delay.
