Vigilance Status of PPS (ad-hoc) for Promotion Continuance

V

This Office Memorandum from the Department of Personnel & Training addresses delays in receiving vigilance status reports for officers promoted to PPS (Probationary Period Service) on an ad-hoc basis. The department initially requested these reports in May, July and again in July 2019, but received them after a three-month gap. Due to the age of the received reports, fresh vigilance status updates and IPR-2018 filings are now requested from cadre units and officers directly, with a deadline of November 22, 2019, to expedite the process. The memo also directs communication to specific individuals within the DoP&T for swift processing of clearances.
