OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Vigilance clearance in respect of officers of Grade-I (Under Secretary) of CSS for their consideration for ad hoc promotion to the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary)
The undersigned is directed to invite reference to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 17th October, 2014 on the subject mentioned above and to say that a number of Ministries/Departments have not yet furnished the vigilance status in respect of officials, likely to be promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary (ad hoc), working in their Ministries/Departments, to AV Division of this Department.
- The meeting of the Screening Committee is likely to be held in the week commencing 24th November, 2014 and in the absence of vigilance clearance, the Screening Committee may not assess the suitability of the respective officials. Ministries/Departments and individual concerned are requested to ensure that the vigilance status of the officials as mentioned in the enclosed list is conveyed to AV Division of this Department, under intimation to this Division.
