The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 16.06.2016 and subsequent reminder dated 22.06.2016 requesting for information in respect of the sanctioned strength in the Ministry/Department and the vacancies in Under Secretary grade likely to arise as on 30.06.2016. It was informed that ad-hoc promotions in the grade of Under Secretary are to be made shortly and some officers are also likely to return from training programme soon.
- The requisite information is still awaited from large number of Ministries/Departments as mentioned at Annexure. It is, therefore, once again requested that the requisite information may kindly be provided in the prescribed Proforma given below by 30.06.2016 without fail.
