OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Updation of Select List of Private Secretary (PS) Grade of CSSS for the year 2016 – Circulation of the draft Select List – reg.

The undersigned is directed to circulate herewith the Draft Select List of Private Secretary (PS) Grade of CSSS for the SLY 2016. It may be noted that the Common Select List (CSL) of PS Grade upto 2015 has already been finalized and issued vide this Department’s OM No. 4/9/2022-CS.II (A) dated 31.05.2022 and OM of even dated 11.06.2022.

2. Draft Select List of PS Grade 2016 has been prepared by interpolating the PS of SQ along with the merit list of LDCE quota (which is now kept vacant) in the ratio of 2:1 (i.e. 66.66% SQ & 33.33% LDCE) in accordance with the provisions of the CSSS Rules, 2010. Two slots of LDCE have been kept vacant for want of final result through LDCE mode as only two officers have qualified the written part of the LDCE Examination vide UPSC Press Notification dated 27.05.2022.

3. Cadre Units are requested to circulate the Draft Select List 2016 to all the concerned officers. Any omission or error should be brought to the notice of this Department within 7 days of the issuance of this OM i.e. by 01.09.2022 to enable this Department to finalize the Select List accordingly.

5. The Select List of PS Grade for the Year 2016 would be subject to any orders that may be passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the Jarnail Singh batch of cases.
