OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: 3rd Cadre Restructuring of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) – reg.
This is with reference to this Department’s OM of even number, dated 11.09. 2017 and 6.11 .2017 on the subject mentioned above vide which all the Cadre Units of CSS were requested to send the requirement of posts in the grade of Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary and Section Officer with full justification and with the approval of the concerned Minister-in-charge to this Department latest by $20^{\text {th }}$ November, 2017.
2. Requisite information from some of the Cadre Units are still awaited. The remaining cadre units (list enclosed) are once again requested to send the aforesaid information to this Department immediately and latest by $26^{\text {th }}$ December, 2017.
3. In case no inputs are received by the $26^{\text {th }}$ December, it will be presumed that there is no specific requirement of a particular cadre units and decision will be taken by this Department accordingly. In case the proposals of the Ministry are under submission, an interim reply may be sent immediately.
