In an era of digital transformation, efficient governance hinges on leveraging technology for administrative processes. One such initiative is the ‘SPARROW’ system, designed to streamline the generation of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for officers of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) and Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS). This online platform is crucial for ensuring timely and transparent performance evaluations across various government ministries and departments. While significant progress has been made by several entities in adopting this digital shift, there’s a concerted effort to encourage all remaining departments to promptly submit their APAR generation progress reports. The push is to ensure full compliance and integration of the SPARROW system to enhance accountability and operational efficiency within the public service framework.
