The President of India has amended the Union Public Service Commission, Record Keeper Recruitment Rules, 2001, through a notification issued on February 6th, 2006. These amendments, known as the Union Public Service Commission Record Keeper Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2006, will take effect upon their publication in the official Gazette. Specifically, the entry under column 5 of the Schedule to the existing rules has been substituted with ‘Non-Selection’. The original rules were first notified in 2001 and have been amended previously in 2002.

Notification
G.S.R………..- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso at article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Union Public Service Commission, Record Keeper Recruitment Rules, 2001, namely:-
- (1) These rules may be called the Union Public Service Commission Record Keeper Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2006.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette. - In the Schedule to the Union Public Service Commission, Record Keeper Recruitment Rules, 2001, for the entry under column 5, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
“Non- Selection”.
