The central government has approved the transfer of Shri Girish P.S., an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre to the Andhra Pradesh cadre. केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5 के उप-नियम (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और असम, मेघालय एवं आंध्र प्रदेश सरकारों की सहमति से श्री गिरीश पी.एस, अ.भा.से. (एएमः12) की दिनांक 14.02.2014 की शारीरिक रूप से अक्षम (शारीरिक अक्षमता) नीति के आधार पर असम-मेघालय संवर्ग से आंध्र प्रदेश में स्थानांतरित करते हैं।
