WHEREAS the orders for transfer of 134 Section Officers under RTP for the year 2016 were issued vide order of even number dated 09.06.2017. The transferred officers were to join their allotted Ministries/Departments by 16.06.2017 (FN).

AND WHEREAS information about joining/relieving has not been received in respect of the following 21 officers till date:

AND WHEREAS in terms of Rule 19 of CSS Rules, 2009 read with amendment issued vide Notification dated 15.09.2010, the officer concerned is deemed to have been relieved by the cadre unit in which he is working, if not relieved by the concerned Ministry/Department within forty-five days of transfer orders or further such period as allowed by the DOPT and thereafter the officer shall not be entitled to draw any salary and allowances for the period of such overstay from the cadre unit from where the cadre officer was transferred.NOW, THEREFORE, the Competent Authority in this Department has ordered that these 21 officers stand relieved from the rolls of the Ministry/Department mentioned in col. 4 against their names with effect from the fore-noon of $1^{\text {st }}$ August, 2017, if not already relieved. These officers are further directed to report to the Director/DS (Admn./Estt.), of the Ministry/Department to which they have been transferred. No formal relieving order from the Ministry/Department where they are presently posted is required. It is also informed that failure to comply with this order will make the officers concerned liable to punitive action under appropriate rules without any further notice to them.

iv) Director/Deputy Secretary (Admn./Estt.), Ministry/Department mentioned in col. 5 in the table at para 2 above with the request that the officer/officers may be allowed to join without any formal relieving order from his/her present Cadre in terms of DOP\&T orders.

vi) Department of Rural Development (Director/DS (Admn./Estt.)), Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi w.r.t. the DO No.K-11011/03/2017-Mkt.Cell dated 26.07.2017 from Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development.
vii) UPSC (Shri Suresh Kumar Nayak, Under Secretary), Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi w.r.t. his letter No.A-22011/1/2015-Admn.II dated 12.07.2017. Shri S. Bhattarcharjee, SO may be reverted to his substantive post and relieved by 01.08 .2017 (FN).
