Transfer of Section Officers of CSS under Rotational Transfer Policy (RTP) for the year 2016

Subject: Transfer of Section Officers of CSS under Rotational Transfer Policy (RTP) for the year 2016 – regarding

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 13.01.2017 vide which a probable list of Section Officers of CSS to be transferred under RTP was circulated. The Ministries/Departments and officers concerned were requested to check the information provided in the list and report discrepancy, if any, to this Department by 15.02.2017.
2. On the basis of the corrections brought to the notice of this Department and on the basis of information available in this Department, an updated list of Section Officers who are due for transfer under RTP for the year 2016 (as on 01.07.2016) has been prepared and attached as annexure to this OM.
3. The following information, if any, in respect of the officers included in the list, may be intimated:
i) If any officer is currently on deputation, the details such as name of the borrowing organization, date of expiry of deputation etc. (Ref. para 5(iii) of OM dated 13.01.17)
ii) If any officer was on deputation during their tenure in the present Ministry/Department, the period of deputation (Ref. para 5(ii) of OM dated 13.01.17)
iii) If any officer is presently on outstation posting, the date from which he/she is continuously posted in that office (Ref. para 5(iv) of OM dated 13.01.17)
4. The information is very important as the transfers under RTP are done on one-to-one basis.
5. Ministries/Departments and officers concerned are once again requested to check the information in Annexure and bring to the notice of this Department any discrepancy found therein so also the information, if any, asked for in para 3 above by 24.03.2017. If the discrepancy is being pointed out by the officer concerned, it should be verified by the concerned cadre unit before forwarding to this Department. If no communication is received by the stipulated date i.e. 24.03.2017, the information as furnished in the list will be considered as final and- 2 –

further action will be taken accordingly. The officers and the Ministries/Departments concerned would be responsible for any discrepancy noticed thereafter.

1. Preferences of posting from the officers in the finalized list will be sought subsequently.
