In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and with the concurrence of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Government of Jharkhand, the Central Govt. hereby transfers Shri Varun Ranjan, IAS(UP:14) from Uttar Pradesh cadre to Jharkhand cadre on the grounds of marriage to Smt. Nancy Sahay, IAS(JH:14).
