In a recent administrative development, the Central Government has approved the transfer of a distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Shri Ashish Kumar Mishra (UD:2021). Previously serving in the Uttarakhand Cadre, Shri Mishra will now be joining the Rajasthan Cadre. This transfer, effective as per the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, comes with the concurrence of both the Uttarakhand and Rajasthan State Governments and is based on grounds of marriage to Dr. Anshu Priya, IAS (RJ:2022). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the State Governments of Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, the Central Government hereby transfers Shri Ashish Kumar Mishra, IAS (UD:2021) from Uttarakhand Cadre to Rajasthan Cadre on grounds of marriage to Dr. Anshu Priya, IAS (RJ:2022).
