In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the State Governments of Karnataka and Gujarat, the Central Government hereby transfers Smt. Gargi Jain, IAS (KN:2015) from Karnataka cadre to Gujarat cadre on grounds of marriage to Shri Vishal Gupta, IAS (GJ:2012).
