The Government of India’s Department of Personnel and Training has issued a notification regarding the transfer of Jaspreet Singh, an Indian Administrative Service officer (AGMUT:14 cadre), from the AGMUT cadre to the Punjab cadre. This transfer is based on the marriage of Mr. Singh to Mrs. Kawandeep Kaur, also an Indian Administrative Service officer (PB:13 cadre). The order is executed under the provisions of Rule 5(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, with the consent of both the Punjab Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

केन्द्र सरकार, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5 के उप-नियम
(2) दवारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा पंजाब सरकार तथा गृह मंत्रालय की सहमति से श्री जसप्रीत सिंह, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (एजीएमयूटी:14) को एजीएमयूटी संवर्ग से पंजाब संवर्ग में उनके श्रीमती कंवरदीप कौर, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (पीबी:13) से विवाह के आधार पर स्थानांतरित करती है।
