ORDER

Shri Pawan Kumar, Under Secretary (CSL No.8462) was transferred and posted from Department of Commerce to Cabinet Secretariat under RTP, vide Order of even number dated 15.05.2019.
2. In terms of Rule 19 of CSS Rules, 2009, upon inter cadre transfer a CSS officer is to be relieved by the participating Ministry / Department within 45 days of transfer orders and thereafter, the officer concerned is deemed to have been relieved by the Ministry / Department concerned to join the Ministry / Department to which he / she has been posted. If not relieved within 45 days, the officer concerned in shall be deemed to have been relieved and thereafter the officer shall not be entitled to draw any salary and allowances from the Ministry/ Department from which transferred.
3. Therefore, the Competent Authority in this Department hereby orders that Shri Pawan Kumar, Under Secretary stands relieved from the rolls of the Department of Commerce with immediate effect. The officer is further directed to report to Cabinet Secretariat, immediately. No formal relieving order from the Department of Commerce is required. It is also informed that failure to comply with this order will make the officer liable to punitive action under appropriate rules without any further notice.
