This office memorandum details a training program for Senior Private Secretaries (Sr. PPS) and Private Secretaries (PPS) of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS). The program, conducted by the ISTM, is divided into two phases: from January 4th to January 15th, 2010, and from February 8th to February 19th, 2010. Officers nominated to participate, listed in Annexure I & II, are to be relieved of their duties and report to the ISTM. The training is compulsory, and Ministries/Departments are requested to sanction an advance for a study tour component of the workshop. Confirmation of officer release and biodata submission is required by specified dates. The memorandum also lists the officers’ current cadre postings.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:- Training Programme for the professional development of Sr. PPS/PPS of the CSSS at the ISTM from 4.01.2010 to 15.01.2010 & 8.02.2010 to 19.02.2010.
The undersigned is directed to say that Sr. PPS/PPS of CSS whose names are given in Annexure I & II have been nominated to participate in the Professional Development Workshop being conducted by the ISTM during the period from 4.01.2010 to 15.01.2010 & 8.02.2010 to 19.02.2010. It is requested that these officers may please be relieved of their duties with the direction to report to Shri A.J.K. Menon, Assistant Director, ISTM, Administrative Block, JNU Campus (Old), New Delhi-110067 at 9 A.M. on 4.01.2010 & 8.02.2010 respectively.
- Cadre Authorities are requested to ensure that the officers nominated to the above workshop are released in time. The training is compulsory and no request for exemption of the nomination of the officer either from the Ministry/Department or the officer concerned shall be entertained by this Department or the Institute.
- As part of the Workshop, the participants would be taken on a study tour. In order to meet the expenditure for the tour all the administrative Ministries/Departments would require to sanction an advance. The amount of advance to be sanctioned would be intimated directly to the Ministry/Department of the participating officers by ISTM in due course.
- Confirmation with regard to the release of the officers along with their respective biodata may please be sent to Shri A.J.K. Menon, Assistant Director, ISTM, New Delhi by 22.12.2009 & 25.01.2010 respectively at the aforesaid address with a copy to the undersigned.
