Statistics Day was held on June 29th, 2022, with the theme of “Data for Sustainable Development.” The event included registration of delegates, arrival of dignitaries, an inaugural session featuring addresses by key figures such as Shri M.M. Hasija, Dr. G P Samanta, Prof. Bimal Kumar Roy, and Dr. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay. Awards were presented, including the Prof. P.C. Mahalanobis National Award and the Prof PV Sukhatme National Award. Rao Inderjit Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, also delivered an address. The event included a technical session with presentations on the theme of Statistics Day and addresses by Mr. Shombi Sharp and Dr. Sanjay Kumar. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri A. Nandakumar.
