OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub: Preparation of panel for the posts of Assistant Director (equivalent to Section Officer), Assistant, Stenographer Gr. ‘C’, Stenographer Gr. ‘D’ and LDC in the Regional Offices of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at Allahabad, Raipur, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bangaluru and Chennai.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an attached office of the Ministry of Personnel P.G. \& Pensions. It has Regional/ Sub-Regional offices at Allahabad, Raipur, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bangaluru and Chennai. 2. At present, the following posts are required to be filled up in the Regional Offices of SSC:-

1. Applications are accordingly invited from the interested candidates belonging to CSS/CSCS/CSSS cadre working in various Ministries/Departments for posting at the above regional offices of SSC. These posts are cadre posts of CSS, CSCS and CSSS of Ministry of Personnel, PG \& Pensions and as such preference will be given to officers borne on the CSS, CSCS and CSSS cadre strength of Ministry of Personnel, P.G. \& Pensions. The officials borne on the cadre other than Ministry of Personnel, P.G. \& Pensions will be appointed either on loan basis, initially for a period of one year or on cadre transfer basis. The officials thus appointed to the posts will, therefore, not be entitled to any deputation allowance.
2. Applications of the interested Section Officers, Assistants, Stenographers Gr. ‘C’, Stenographers Gr. ‘D’ and LDCs who can be relieved at a short notice may be sent through proper channel to the undersigned (Room No. 3A/II, North Block, New Delhi) within 30 days of the issue of this Office Memorandum.
3. The officials who volunteer for these posts will not be allowed to withdraw their names later. Only such applications which are accompanied by requisite particulars/ data as in Annexure will be considered.5. All Ministries/Departments and all cadre units of Ministry of Personnel, P.G. & Pensions are requested to give wide publicity to this Office Memorandum. While forwarding the applications of interested officials, their vigilance clearance may also be sent to this Ministry.
