OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:- Special concessions/facilities for the Central Government Employees working in the Kashmir valley and relief to Kashmir Migrant employees of Central Govt. and PSUs.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M.No.18016/6/99-Estt.(L) dated 27th August, 2004 on the subject mentioned above.
The Department of J&K Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs have reviewed the matter in consultation with this department and it has been decided that the existing package of concessions/benefits earlier extended to Central Govt. employees working in Kashmir Valley up to 30.6.2005, may be continued further for a period of one year with effect from 1.7.2005 up to 30.6.2006. A copy of the details of the package of incentives is enclosed as an annexure for ready reference. It is reiterated that the Ministries/Departments etc. may adhere strictly to the rate(s) as specified in the Annexure (3 pages).
These instructions, if necessary, may be issued accordingly to the offices/subordinate offices under the Ministries/Depts.
