ORDER

Consequent upon appointment of officers of Maharashtra Cadre from State Civil Service to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List 2018 (SCS Category) vide this Department’s Notification No 14015/14/2019-AIS-(I) dated 09.02.2021 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Maharashtra vide their letter No. AIS-1020/CR.351/2020/X dated 02.08.2021 and subsequent letter No. AIS-1020/CR.351/2020/X dated 03.11.2021, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:-

  1. 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 of the additional Select List 2018 shall be placed below Shri S.S. Patil, promotee IAS officer of 2011 batch (SL-2017 – SCS Category) and above Shri U.A. Jadhav, promotee IAS officer of 2011 batch (SL-2018 – SCS Category) of Maharashtra cadre.

  2. 2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 2 of the additional Select List 2018 shall be placed below Shri Anil Ganpatrao Ramod, promotee IAS officer of 2011 batch (SL-2018 – SCS Category) and above Shri Shantanu Goel, senior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch of Maharashtra cadre.

  3. This issues in continuation of this Department’s order of even number dated 9.2.2021 and in supersession of orders of even number dated 31.08.2021 and 03.12.2012. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
