ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers of West Bengal Cadre from State Civil Services to IAS on the on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2017 vide this Department’s Notification No 14015/24/2018-AIS-(I)B(1) dated 31.08.2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of West Bengal vide their letter no. 2165PAR(IAS)/Comm-06/2017(Part) dated 24.9.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:-:-

- 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 10 in the Select List 2017 shall be placed below Shri Rabijyoti Majumdar Junior most promotee IAS officer of 2008 batch (SL-2016 SCS category) and above Smt. Mousumi Chattaraj Chaudhuri, senior most promotee IAS officer of 2008 batch (SL-2016 Non-SCS category) of West Bengal cadre. 3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 11 to 17 in the Select List 2017 shall be placed below Ms Rachna Bhagat, Junior most RR IAS officer of 2009 batch and above Ms. Joyoshi Das Gupta, senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of West Bengal cadre.
