ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers of Tamil Nadu Non State Civil Services to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List 2020 vide this Department’s Notification No.14015/21/2021-AIS-(I) B dated 23.02.2022 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Tamil Nadu vide their letter No.227/Spl.A/2022-1 dated 02.03.2022, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended vide notification No.14014/04/2011-AIS-I dated 5.5.2015 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:

- Seniority/year of allotment of officer mentioned at SI. No. 3 in the Select List of 2020 has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority ) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List. 2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List of 2020 (Non-SCS) shall be placed below Smt. Kalaiselvi Mohan, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2012 batch (SCS category) and above Shri T. Prabhushankar, senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre. 2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name have been mentioned at SI. No. 2 \& 3 in the Select List of 2020 (Non-SCS) shall be placed below Dr.(Smt.) J. Vijaya Rani, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2013 batch (SCS category) and above Shri Johny Tom Varghese, senior most RR IAS officer of 2014 batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre.
