Consequent upon appointment to IAS by Selection (Non-SCS category) of Tamil Nadu Cadre from the Select List 2023 vide this DoPT’s Notification No. 14015/21/2024-AIS-I(S.II\&III)-B dated $16^{\text {th }}$ December, 2024 and on receipt of a proposal from the Government of Tamil Nadu vide their letter No. 291/A2/2024-17 dated 24.12:2024, the seniority/ year of allotment of these officers have been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:

No. 1 in the Select List of 2023 (NonSCS Category) has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987.3. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose named have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 3 of the Select List of 2023 (NonSCS) shall be placed below Ms. N. Priya, Select List-2022, YoA -2017, the junior most Non-SCS officer of 2017 batch and above Shri Madhubalan L (RR:TN:2018), the senior most RR IAS officer of 2018 batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre.
