ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers of Tamil Nadu Cadre from State Civil Services (Non-SCS category) to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2016 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/21/2017-AIS-(I) B dated 15.01.2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Tamil Nadu vide their letter No.826/2018-1 dated 15.06.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended vide notification No.14014/04/2011-AIS-I dated 5.5.2015 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:-

- Seniority/year of allotment of officers mentioned at SI. No. 2 and 4 in the Select List of 2016 (Non-SCS) has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority ) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List. 3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 2 in the Select List of 2016 (Non-SCS) shall be placed below Shri A. Annadurai, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2010(SCS category) batch and above Smt. S. Divyadharshini, senior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre. 3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 3 to 4 in the Select List of 2016 (Non-SCS) shall be placed below Shri Chandra Sekhar Sakhamuri, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2011 batch and above Shri S. Gopala Sundara Raj, senior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre
