ORDER

Consequent upon appointment into IAS from the Non-State Civil Service and inclusion of their names in the Select List 2019 of Assam segment of Joint Assam-Meghalaya cadre vide this Department’s Notification No.14015/03/2020-AIS (I)-B dated 29.12.2021 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Assam vide letter No. AAI.11/2020/582 dated 11th January, 2022, the seniority/year of allotment of these officers has been considered and computed under Rule 3(3) (iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

  • Seniority/year of allotment of officers mentioned at SI. No. 1\&2 in the Select List of 2019 of has been restricted under proviso of the rule 3(3)(iii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List. 2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 and 2 of the Select List of 2019 (Non-SCS category) shall be placed below Shri Dilip Kumar Borah, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2012 (SL 2018 under Non-SCS category) and above Shri Kailash Karthik N., senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Joint Assam-Meghalaya Cadre.
