ORDER
Consequent upon inclusion of Non-State Civil Service officers of Gujarat Cadre to IAS for the Select List 2018(Non- SCS Category) and appointed vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/06/2019-AIS-(I)-B dated 27.01.2020 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Gujarat vide their letter No. AIS-16.2020-158419-G dated 03.02.2020, the Seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, as amended vide Notification No.14014/4/2011-AIS-I dated 05.05.2016 and other relevant rules. Modified Weightage formula is now as under:-

- Seniority/year of allotment of officers mentioned in the table at SI. No. 1 and 2 in the Select List of 2018 (Non-SCS Category) has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority ) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List 2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name have been mentioned from SI. No. 1 to 3 in the Select list of 2018(Non-SCS Category) shall be placed below Shri V.K. Advani, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2014 batch (Non-SCS SL-2017) and above Ms. Ananya Das, senior most RR IAS officer of 2015 batch of Gujarat cadre.
