The Department of Personnel & Training has announced a scheme to promote adventure sports amongst Central Government employees. The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports, Manali, will be conducting Adventure Camps throughout October and November 2016. Interested employees can directly apply to the Sr. Mountaineering Instructor, Shri Nanak Chand, with a copy endorsed to the Secretary, CCSCSB. Reimbursement for expenses will be provided upon submission of necessary documents, including fee receipts, tickets, and bank details. All ministries and departments are requested to disseminate this information to eligible employees and encourage participation.

Sub: Scheme for Promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Employees-Calendar of Programme to be conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports, Manali
The undersigned is directed to refer to the Department of Personnel & Training Office Memorandum of even number dated 26th April 2016 regarding Scheme for Promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Employees. The same may be seen at www.persmin.nic.in-Welfare-sports-general/recent_circulars-miscellaneous.
- The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the following programme under the Scheme to be conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports, Manali during October, 2016 to November, 2016:

- Fee includes Manali to Manali Boarding, Lodging, Camping Equipment, Trainers, Local transport, (except time of arrival) first aid medical, ground evacuation, communication and group insurance.
- The interested Government Employee may approach Sr. Mountaineering Instructor, Shri Nanak Chand (09805338331) and submit his/her application directly to them and a copy of the same endorsed to Secretary, CCSCSB, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi. On completion of Adventure Activities, the Government servant concerned will have to be submitted the copy of documents issued by institute as proof of completion of said activity, expenditure details (fee receipt & tickets in original) along with Bank Details (Name of Bank, Account Number, Branch Name and IFSC Code) for smooth reimbursement of claim.
- In view of the above, it is requested that the contents of the Scheme (copy enclosed) may please be disseminated amongst the employees who are eligible to avail the benefits of the Scheme and encourage to participate in the Scheme.
