RWA Election for the Block Year 2015-17 and Derecognition Guidelines

R

This communication from the Department of Personnel & Training addresses Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) that have not received grant-in-aid for 2013-14 and 2014-15. It clarifies that per established guidelines, failure to receive funding for two consecutive years results in derecognition. The letter instructs officials to initiate action for the revival or fresh recognition of these RWAs, outlining the required documentation for associations seeking recognition, including membership lists, registration certificates, managing committee details, adoption of the model constitution, and confirmation of non-overlapping membership. It specifically references previous guidelines from a 1997 welfare letter.
