This Office Memorandum details the guidelines for the annual rotational transfer of Personal Secretaries (PS) in the CSSS grade. It categorizes Ministries/Departments into Group ‘A’ and ‘B’, establishing an eight-year tenure for PS in each group, with mandatory transfers between them. Exceptions are made for officers within two years of superannuation and those serving in specific offices like the PMO and Attorney General’s office. The document also outlines a process for officers to express their posting preferences, considering factors like experience and seniority. Vacancy positions in both Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ are provided in Annexures, and a proforma for officers to fill out their preferences is included.
