This document addresses the consideration of representations from SC/ST employees of the former Hill Sub-Cadre concerning the revision of their allocation from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh. After examining the matter and consulting with the Ministry of Law, it has been determined that the benefits of the revised allocation policy, as outlined in previous departmental letters and amendments, cannot be extended to these specific employees. This decision pertains to employees who belonged to the Hill Sub-Cadre immediately before the appointed day and were subsequently allocated to Uttarakhand as per a general order dated 11-09-2001.
