OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Review of USSLs 2003-2008 reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated $14^{\text {th }}$ January 2015 on the subject mentioned above – available in the website of this Department at persmin.nic.in $\rightarrow$ DoPT $\rightarrow$ Central Secretariat $\rightarrow$ CSS $\rightarrow$ Promotions (Regular) $\rightarrow$ SO to US forwarding therewith the following two lists:
(i) Regular Under Secretaries as on 1.7.2003 i.e. Officers up to USSL-2002. In the list the position with regard to deputation, VRS, expired officers or any other event which will have an impact on the vacancy for USSL-2003 has been indicated;
(ii) Officers included in USSL-2003 but were on deputation, VRS, expired etc.
2. Ministries/ Departments may also refer to another O.M. of even number dated 16.1.2015 regarding officers who were not clear from vigilance angle at the time of original DPC.
3. Ministries/ Departments have been requested to confirm the regular USs in position as on 1.7.2003 and also to confirm deputation and other details of officers as per the lists attached with the aforesaid O.Ms. The position alongwith supporting documents (wherever required) were to be furnished by 27.1.2015. However, despite barring a few Ministries, the requisite information has not yet been received.
4. As non receipt of information is delaying finalisation of Review DPC proposal for USSLs 2003-2008, Ministries/ Departments concerned are requested to kindly furnish the requisite information urgently and in any case latest by 15.2.2015.
