To ensure efficient governance and optimal resource allocation, a significant initiative is underway to gather comprehensive data on the sanctioned strength and current occupancy status of senior-level officers across various government Ministries and Departments. This drive specifically targets positions equivalent to Under Secretary and above, excluding those already covered under the Central Secretariat Services and Central Staffing Scheme. The objective is to streamline the process of filling critical vacancies and facilitate the appropriate deployment of support personnel, including those providing essential stenographical services to top-tier officials. All concerned administrative units are requested to compile and submit this vital information, detailing both the approved number of posts and the current incumbents, using a specified format. This data collection effort, which requires submission via email in an editable digital format, is a crucial step towards enhancing operational efficiency within the public service.
