An Assistant Agricultural Officer, Brij Mohan Singh Pal, who requested a re-allocation from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh citing medical hardship due to depression, has had his request rejected. The Advisory Committee, which reviewed the case, noted that no medical certificate was submitted to support the claim. The Government of India has accepted this recommendation. Consequently, the officer has been informed that his request cannot be approved as per the guidelines, which require a medical certificate for such applications. The concerned departments in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, as well as the officer himself, have been notified.

Sir,
I am directed to refer to the above mentioned subject and to say that Sh. Brij Mohan Singh Pal, Assistant Agricultural Officer, Agriculture and Soil Conservation, Rudhraprayag has requested for reallocation from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh under the guidelines of medical hardship policy on the ground of illness of self depression.

In this regard, it is to inform that the representation of Sh. Brij Mohan Singh Pal, Assistant Agricultural Officer was considered by the Advisory Committee under the Chairmanship of Joint Secretary (AT&A), DoPT in its meeting held on 18.07.2014 at New Delhi.

The recommendations of the Committee are as under:
“Brij Mohan Singh Pal, Asstt. Agriculture Officer, Agriculture and Soil Conservation, Rudhraprayag had requested for re-allocation to UP stating that he is suffering from Depression as he has not been allocated to UP. No medical certificate was submitted. The Committee rejected the request as no Medical Certificate enclosed.”

The Govt. of India has accepted the recommendations of the Advisory Committee as mentioned in Para 3.

Since, Sh. Brij Mohan Singh Pal has not submitted his medical certificate in support of his illness along with his representation for re-allocation as required under the guidelines. His request has been rejected as recommended by the Advisory Committee.
- The above officer concerned may be intimated accordingly.
