Rejection of Inter-Cadre Deputation Extension for Dr. K.H. Govinda Raj

The Central Government has rejected a proposal to extend the inter-cadre deputation of Dr. K.H. Govinda Raj, an IAS officer, from the Maharashtra cadre to the Karnataka cadre beyond October 5, 2012. This decision is based on the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. The notification directs relevant officials in Maharashtra and Karnataka to take necessary action, including relieving the officer immediately and ensuring his pay is not drawn beyond the approved deputation period. Copies of this notification have been sent to the Chief Secretaries of both states, the Accountant Generals, Dr. Raj himself, and relevant directors within the Department of Personnel and Training.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby rejects the proposal for extension of inter cadre deputation of Dr. K.H. Govinda Raj, IAS (MH:95) from Maharashtra Cadre to Karnataka cadre for a period of one year beyond 05.10.2012.
