Regulation of Deputation Tenure of Private Secretaries to Union Cabinet Ministers

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a regulation regarding the deputation tenure of officers appointed as Private Secretaries to dignitaries holding the rank of Union Cabinet Minister, excluding those who are Ministers themselves. This regulation will be governed by the provisions outlined in DoP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010.

Subject: Regulation of deputation tenure of officers appointed as Private Secretary to the dignitaries who hold the rank of Union Cabinet Minister but are not Ministers.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved that the depuffation tenure of officers appointed as Private Secretary to the dignitaries who hold the rank of Union Cabinet Minister but are not Ministers shall, hereafter, be regulated in terms of the provisions of DoP\&T OM No.6/8/2009Estr. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010.
