Refixing Seniority of Promotee IAS Officers in Nagaland

R

This order addresses the erroneous communication of continuous officiation dates for promotee IAS officers in Nagaland. The Government of Nagaland had initially stated a date of 1.10.1990, but clarified the correct date as 18.12.1985. Consequently, the seniority and year of allotment for these officers have been recalculated based on Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, and subsequent amendments. The document details the weightage formula used for calculating seniority, lists officers with their dates of holding rank, and specifies their year of allotment. It also clarifies the placement of these officers in relation to other IAS officers of the 2001 and 2004 batches. Furthermore, a previous order dated 18th December 2012 is superseded by this new order.
