RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE STATE ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGARDING
FINAL ALLOCATION OF PERSONNEL OF FOREST DEPARTMENT OF UTTAR
PRADESH TO THE STATE OF UTTARANCHAL
(ONLY INVESTIGATOR CUM COMPLIER)
In accordance with section-76 of Uttar Pradesh Reorganisation Act-2000, the State Advisory
Committee constituted by GOI for assisting the allotment of personnel to the successor States of Uttar
Pradesh & Uttaranchal, after having approved the Tentative Final Allocation List of personnel belonging
to Forest Department, Uttar Pradesh and after having invited representation from persons who might be
affected by the aforesaid Tentative Final Allocation List, met
and finalise its recommendations. It was placed before the Committee that out of 08 proposed personnel
only 01 person has submitted representation. The main objection of the representation is spouse posting.
The views of the Forest Department of Uttar Pradesh in respect of 01 representation was placed
before the Committee. After proper consideration and due deliberations, the Committee make the
following recommendation on the basis of information provided by the Forest Department, Uttar Pradesh,
regarding final allotment of employee.

As status of vacant posts as on the appointed day post of Investigator cum Compiler in the pay scale
4500-7000 numbering 44 have been given vacant to Uttaranchal against 52 allocated posts.
Sri Satyendra Singh Saini who has been proposed for Uttaranchal allotment claimed in his
representation that his wife who is an optee as well as allottee of Uttaranchal is in a superior scale of pay
of Rs. 5500-9000 to his scale of pay of Rs. 5000-8000 from April 01, 2001. In this way he is junior to his
wife. Therefore, under the spouse policy he deserves the right to be retained in Uttar Pradesh, as requested
1/1by him. Since the allotment is to take place on the basis of status of both the employees, which is not clear. Hence the Committee decided to defer his case.
These recommendations will however, be subject to court order, if any.
