OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Promotion of Section Officers of CSS belonging to ST category to the Grade of Under Secretary on ad hoc basis – forwarding of CR dossiers and vigilance clearance.
The undersigned is directed to state that there are back $\log$ of vacancies in the Grade of Under Secretary for the Section Officers of CSS belong to ST category. Section Officers of ST category up to part of 1996 Select List have already been promoted to the Grade of Under Secretary on ad hoc basis. Section Officers of CSS up to 1999 Select List belong to ST category are eligible to be considered for their promotion to the Grade of Under Secretary on ad hoc basis.
2- All Ministries/Departments are requested to forward the CR dossiers and vigilance clearance of all ST Section Officers up to Select List 1999, who are yet to be promoted to the Grade of Under Secretary, for being considered for promotion to the Grade of Under Secretary on ad hoc basis, to enable this Department to fill up the backlog vacancies meant for ST category officer.
