Failure to comply will disqualify officers from consideration for ad-hoc promotion to the grade of Under Secretary. The annexure lists the officers for whom information is still awaited, including their names, CSL numbers, dates of birth, and current ministry/department.

Subject: Promotion of Section Officers upto SOSL-2008 of CSS to Grade-I (Under Secretary) of CSS on ad-hoc basis – Furnishing of ACRs / APARs, vigilance clearance, etc.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 01.11.2018 and subsequent reminder dated 14.11.2018 on the subject noted above and to say that the Ministries / Departments concerned were requested to send the ACRs / APARs up to 2016-2017 along with their vigilance status as well as status of minor / major penalties, if any, in respect of the officers as mentioned in Annexure of the said O.M. The requisite information in respect of the officers as mentioned in the enclosed Annexure is still pending. Ministries / Departments concerned are once again requested to furnish the requisite information latest by 30.11.2018. If no information is received by the stipulated date, the officer concerned will not be considered for ad-hoc promotion to the grade of Under Secretary.
