OFFICE ORDER
In supersession of this Department’s earlier Office Order of even number dated 06-09-2010, consequent upon inclusion of their names in the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) Select List of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) for the year 2010, the President is pleased to grant pro-forma promotion as Deputy Secretary under the Next-Below Rule w.e.f. 25th August, 2010 to Shri Som Nath Gupta and Ms. Vinod Jindal, Under Secretaries of CSS presently holding the posts of Director (LM)-I, DDA and Joint Director, I S T M respectively, on deputation basis. Their pay etc. will be regulated in terms of O.M.No.6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 17-06-2010.
- The benefit of proforma promotion to Shri Som Nath Gupta and Ms. Vinod Jindal, Under Secretaries of CSS will, however, be subject to final order of Hon’ble CAT in OA No. 1864 of 2009 pending before the Hon’ble CAT, Calcutta in the matter relating to Ms. Garima Singh Vs UOI & Ors.
