In a significant administrative development, Smt. Rajni Razdan, a member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), has been appointed as the Chairperson of the UPSC. This appointment, made by the President of India, will take effect from the afternoon of August 16, 2014. The notification regarding this appointment has been published by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training.
