The All India Civil Services Athletics Championship 2020-21, scheduled to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from April 6th to 9th, 2021, has been postponed due to the expansion of COVID-19 across the country. This decision was made after receiving feedback from several states expressing concerns about their athletes’ participation amidst the pandemic. The championship will be rescheduled at a later date, and further updates will be provided.

Subject: Postponement of All India Civil Services Athletics Championship 2020-21 at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh-Reg.
Reference is invited to CCSCSB’s Circulars of even number dated 18.3.2021 on the subject mentioned above. Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Bhopal, M.P., vide letter number 8727/खे.यू.क/अ.पो./2021 dated 30.3.2021 has informed that participants of many states are in a state of dilemma w.r.t. their participation in AICS Athletic tournament due to expansion of Covid – 19 in the country. Therefore, AICS Athletics Championship 2020-21 scheduled to be held at Bhopal, M.P. from 6 to 9th April, 2021 stand postponed till further orders. A copy of the letter received from Administration, Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Bhopal, M.P., is enclosed.

उपरोक्त विषयांतर्गत संदर्भित पत्र का कृपया अवलोकन करे, आपके द्वारा ऑल
इंडिया सिविल सर्विसेस टूर्नामेंट (एथलेटिक्स) वर्ष 2020-21 का आयोजन दिनांक 06 से 09
अप्रैल 2021 तक टी.टी. नगर स्टेडियम, भोपाल में कराये जाने हेतु सहमति प्रदान की गई है।
वर्तमान में कोविड-19 वैश्विक महामारी का प्रकोप पूरे देश में तेजी से फैल रहा
है जिसके कारण सभी राज्यों के खिलाड़ियों में उक्त प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभागिता करने हेतु
असमंजस्य की स्थिति है एवं भोपाल में एथलेटिक्स खेल के अलावा अन्य खेलों की राष्ट्रीय
प्रतियोगिताओं को भी कोरोना वायरस के कारण स्थगित किया गया है।
अतः उपरोक्त स्थिति को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए उक्त प्रतियोगिता आगामी आदेश
तक स्थगित की जाती है तथा प्रतियोगिता आयोजन हेतु आगामी तिथिओं के संबंध में पृथक से
अवगत कराया जावेगा।
