OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Posting of DR ASOs against the vacant posts of Section Officer Reg.
Reference is invited to this Department’s order of even number dated 07.11.16 regarding allocation of Direct Recruit Assistant Section Officers and also O.M. No.19/4/2016-CS-II(B) dated 03.10.16 regarding posting of 23 ad-hoc ASOs to various cadres.
2. As there is an overall shortage in the grade of Section Officer in various Ministries/Departments, it has been decided to utilize the vacant posts of Section Officer temporarily for posting ASOs in terms of GFR-254, with the approval of competent authority.
3. Accordingly, 65 vacant posts of Section Officer have been temporarily utilized while posting the ASOs vide above order dated 07.11.16 and the details are given in the Annexure.
4. This is for records and information of all Ministries/Departments concerned.
