This notification announces the permanent absorption of Shri Uma Shankar, a member of the 2011 West Bengal cadre of the Indian Administrative Service, into the service with effect from August 29, 2013. The decision is made under the powers conferred by Rule 3-A of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, and is communicated by the Under Secretary of the Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training.
