The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB), in collaboration with the Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI), is hosting its fourth Half Marathon on November 10th, 2024, at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The event features three categories – 5KM, 10KM, and 21KM – open to Central Government employees, State Government employees, PSU employees, and YHAI members and their families. Registration is online via www.yhaindia.org and closes on October 18th, 2024, or upon reaching a maximum of 3000 participants. Participants will receive a T-shirt, bib, and medal upon completion, with cash prizes awarded to the top three finishers in each category for both men and women. The minimum age for participation is 10 years, and the maximum is 60 years. Registration fees vary based on employment status. Sub: Organization of fourth Half Marathon on 10th November, 2024 from Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi
Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB), is the Central Agency for promotion of Cultural & Sports Activities amongst Central Government employees in the country. It works under the aegis and control of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India.
- To commemorate the glorious history of Indian people and culture, Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB), in association with Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI), is organizing its fourth Half Marathon in three different categories i.e. 5KM, 10KM and 21KM from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM on 10th November, 2024. The Marathon will start from Gate No. 1 of Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium and will finish at the same place.

The following are eligible to participate in the fourth Half Marathon with registration fees as under:-

- The online registration form is available at www.yhaindia.org. The registration will be closed at 5.00 PM on 18.10.2024. All the participants are requested to follow the guidelines laid down in the Annexure-I and report at the prescribed time at the venue.
- The registration will be done on “first-cum-first-serve-basis” with a maximum ceiling of 3000 participants. The registration will be closed after completion of 3000 registration irrespective of last date of registration.
- The minimum and maximum age for participation in the Half Marathon is 10 years and 60 years respectively.
- Trophies for first, second and third positions in each category of the run for males and females separately will be awarded. On successful completion of the half marathon, each participant will be given a medal. Cash prizes for winners in all races for both Men and Women will be given as under:-

The half Marathon will close at 8.30 AM . 2. Entry to the venue will only be allowed with the event T Shirt and Serial Number of Bib on the front and back of the T Shirt. 3. In the eventuality of cancellation of Half Marathon due to any unforeseen reasons, the registration amount will be refunded within a period of 8 weeks without any interest thereon. 4. Separate registration for each participant is mandatory. 5. Facilities to be provided : a. T-Shirt b. Bib c. Medal on successful completion of Marathon categories enrolled for. d. Breakfast. e. Hydration points. f. Medical facilities. 6. T-Shirts and Bib will be provided after successful registration and can be collected from 4.11.2024 to 6.11.2024 from YHAI Office, 5 Nyaya Marg, Chankyapuri, New Delhi – 110022 between 1 PM and 5 PM. 7. The digital certificates of 4th half Marathon will be available on www.runizen.com after entering the participants details. 8. The parking for participants will be available at Gate No. 6 of Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium.
