The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) is hosting a Women’s Sports Meet on January 15th, 2025, at Vinay Marg Sports Ground, New Delhi. This event is open to all civilian women employees of the Government of India and aims to promote women’s participation in sports and cultural activities, encourage a healthier lifestyle, and boost self-esteem and teamwork. Participants can compete in individual and team events, with the last date for entries being January 10th, 2025. A variety of sports will be conducted, including races, throws, and relays. Participants will receive certificates and souvenirs, and winners will be awarded medals. Special casual leave will be granted for participation, and a cultural program will accompany the event. Certain categories of employees are ineligible to participate, including uniformed personnel and those on temporary duty.

Subject: Organization of 4th edition of Women’s Sports Meet (नारी समागम एवं स्पर्धा), 2024-25
Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organizing a Women’s Sports Meet (नारी समागम एवं स्पर्धा) at Mega Event for Central Government Civilian Women Employees of all Ministries/Departments located in Delhi/New Delhi, on 15th January 2025 (Wednesday) at Vinay Marg Sports Ground, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi from 09:00 AM onwards.
- All Civilian women employees of Government of India are invited to participate in the event. The entries for the event may be submitted in the prescribed Performa(annexed) to Secretary, Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board office, Room No 361, ‘B’ Wing, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi – 1 10003 or through email at ccscsbsportsboard@gmail.com. The last date of submission of entries is 10th January 2025.

The purpose of organizing this Women’s Sports Meet is to create awareness and to enhance Women’s participation in various cultural and sports activities organized by CCSCSB and also to inform them about the benefits, facilities and incentives provided to sportspersons by the Govt. This will also encourage Women employees to not only participate in sports events, but also help to adopt healthier lifestyle and increase their self-esteem, teamwork, confidence, improve their social skills and support positive mental health.

Participants may only take part only in two individual and two team events. All participants are requested to fill the proforma enclosed at Annexure -I. The following Events will be conducted on Women’s Sports Meet:

- The following categories of employees are not eligible for participation in this Competition: – a) Uniformed personnel in Defence Services/Para Military Organizations/ Central Police Organization police/RPF/CISF/BSF/1TBP/NSG etc. b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/Corporations even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries. c) Casual/Daily wages workers. d) Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.
- Tea & Lunch, Participation certificates and a Souvenir will be provided to all participants. Medals will be awarded to the winners ( $1^{\text {st }}, 2^{\text {nd }} \& 3 \mathrm{rd}$ place) of the events/games.
- A short cultural programme will be held during the lunch break.
- Participants shall be allowed to avail “special casual leave’ as per Circular number F.No.6/1/85- Estt. (Pay-I) dated 16.7.1985. Welfare Officers are requested to allow women employees of their Ministries/Deptt. to participate in this Mega Event liberally. They will submit a participation certificate to their departments issued from CCSCSB. The participants must carry their official Identity Card for verification.
