The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organizing a Women’s Sports Meet for all Central Government Civilian Women Employees in Delhi/New Delhi on December 20th, 2023. The event aims to promote women’s participation in sports, encourage a healthier lifestyle, and enhance self-esteem and teamwork. Participants can choose from individual events like 100m race, ball throw, lemon race, sack race, basketball throw, and powerlifting, as well as a team event – tug of war. Entries must be submitted by December 18th, 2023, and participants are requested to fill the prescribed proforma. Special casual leave is permitted for participation, and a participation certificate will be issued. Participants must carry their official Identity Card for verification. The circular requests wide publicity for the event.

Subject- Organization of 3rd edition of Women’s Sports Meet (नारी समागम एवं स्पर्धा)
Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organizing a Women’s Sports Meet “नारी समागम एवं स्पर्धा” a Mega Event for Central Government Civilian Women Employees of all Ministries/Departments located in Delhi/New Delhi, on 20th December 2023 (Wednesday) at Vinay Marg Sports Complex, Chankyapuri, New Delhi from 09:00 AM onwards.
- All Civilian women employees of Government of India are invited to participate in the event. The entries for the event may be submitted in the prescribed proforma (annexed) to Secretary, Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board office, Room No 361, ‘B’ Wing, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi – 110003 or through email at doptsports@gmail.com. The last date of submission of entries is 18th December 2023.
- The purpose of organizing this Women’s Sports Meet is to create awareness and to enhance Women’s participation in various cultural and sports activities organized by CCSCSB and also to inform them about the benefits, facilities and incentives provided to sportspersons by the Govt. This will also encourage Women employees to not only participate in sports events, but also help to adopt healthier lifestyle and increase their self-esteem, teamwork, confidence, improve their social skills and support positive mental health.
- Participants may only take part only in 2 individual and one team game. All participants are requested to fill the proforma enclosed at Annexure -I. The following Events will be conducted on Women’s Sports Meet:-

- The following categories of employees are not eligible for participation in this competition – (a) Uniformed personnel in Defence Services/Para Military Organizations/ Central Police Organization/Pol ice/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP/NSG etc. (b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/Corporations even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries. (c) Casual/Daily wages workers. (d) Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.
- Tea & Lunch, Participation certificates and a Souvenir will be provided to all participants. Medals will be awarded to the winners ( 12 \mathrm{nd} & 3 \mathrm{rd} place) of the events/games.
- A short cultural programme will be held during the lunch break.
- Participants shall be allowed to avail “special casual leave’ as per Circular number F.No.6/1/85Estt. (Pay-I) dated 16.7.1985. Welfare Officers are requested to allow women employees of their Ministries/Deptt to participate in this Mega Event liberally. They will submit a participation certificate to their departments issued from CCSCSB. The participants must carry their official Identity Card for verification.
