The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) has announced a change in the date and venue for its 2nd Half Marathon. Originally scheduled for November 17, 2019, the event will now take place on March 1, 2020, starting and finishing at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. The categories of 5K, 10K, and 21K remain unchanged, and reporting times are also the same. Participants who have already registered do not need to re-register, but those wishing to change their race category must do so, understanding that their initial registration will be canceled without refund. New registrations will open on January 13, 2020, and will close on February 10, 2020. The online registration form will be available on www.yhaindia.org. The circular also provides contact details for queries and specifies that T-shirts and bibs will be distributed from February 18-20, 2020. All relevant government departments, PSUs, and autonomous bodies are requested to disseminate this information widely.

CIRCULAR
Sub: Organization of 2nd Half Marathon – change in date and venue
Reference is invited to this Department’s Circular of even number dated 18th September 2019 on the subject mentioned above.
- 2nd Half Marathon of CCSCSB-DoPT and YHAI, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 17th November 2019, will now be held on 1st March 2020 (Sunday). The Half Marathon will now begin from Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium and will finish at the same place.

There is no change in the categories of Half Marathon i.e. 5K, 10 K and 21K. Reporting time of Half Marathon remains unchanged. Those persons who have already registered need not register again. However, if a registered person wishes to change his/her category of race, he/she will need to register again. In such cases, the earlier registration will be treated as cancelled and no refund will be given.

The new registrations for persons who could not register earlier will begin from 13th January 2020 (10.00 AM onwards). The last date of registration will be 10th February 2020 (6.00 PM). The online registration form will be available at www.yhaindia.org. The participants are requested to follow the guidelines laid down in Annexure-I and report at the prescribed time at the venue. A copy of the earlier circular dated 18th September 2019 along with guidelines for the Half Marathon is enclosed.

The half Marathon will close at 8.30 AM. 2. Entry to the venue will only be allowed with the event T Shirt and Serial Number of Bib on the front of the T Shirt. 3. In the eventuality of cancellation of Half Marathon due to any unforeseen reasons, the registration charges will be refunded within a period of 8 weeks without any interest thereon. 4. Separate registration for each participant is mandatory. 5. Sub: Organization of second Half Marathon on 17th November, 2019 from Vinay Marg Sports Complex, New Delhi
The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB), a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, is the Central Agency for promotion of Cultural & Sports Activities amongst Central Government employees in the country. It works under the aegis and control of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India.
- CCSCSB, in association with Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI), is organizing its second Half Marathon in three different categories i.e. 5KM, 10KM and 21KM on 17th November, 2019 from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM. The Marathon will start from Vinay Marg Sports Complex and will finish at the same place.
- Central Government Civilian employees and their family members working in Ministries/Department located in New Delhi, employees of PSUs/Autonomous bodies (not family members) under administrative control of Central Government and members of YHAI (not family members) can participate in the Half Marathon.
- The registration will be done on “first-cum-first-serve-basis” with a maximum ceiling of 3000 participants. The registration will close after completion of 3000 registrations irrespective of last date of registration. The registration charges for Central Government employees & their family members and for other categories will be Rs.300/- (non-refundable) and Rs 600/- (non-refundable) respectively (plus 5% online booking charges).
- Registration for the Marathon will begin from 20.9.2019 and will close on or before 18.10.2019. The online registration form will be available at www.yhaindia.org from 20.9.2019. All the participants are requested to follow the guidelines laid down in the Annexure-I and report at the prescribed time at the venue.
- Trophies for first, second and third positions in each category of the run for males and females separately will be awarded. On successful completion of the run in each category of the half marathon, each participant will be given a medal and a Digital Certificate. Digital Certificate may be downloaded from www.runizen.com. Cash prizes for winners in all races for both Men and Women will be given as under:-
